The Snugpak® Bivvi Bag, perfect for cold weather conditions. Lightweight, waterproof and windproof, the Bivvi Bag provides protection from weather elements all year round and is small enough to be carried on its own for emergencies, as well as used in conjunction with an entire sleeping system for wild camping and tent based camping ventures. It can be used as a bare minimum for light-weight wild camping in the summer, or used in conjunction with a sleeping bag and air mat for planned camps all year round, as well as in an emergency to protect against weather elements in unexpected circumstances.

The technical fabric of the Snugpak® Bivvi Bag, Paratex Dry, is breathable, allowing trapped moisture to escape from within the microclimate, keeping you warm, dry and comfortable. When seeking shelter from the weather elements, you will be grateful for the superior technical features of the Snugpak® Bivvi Bag, and have greater confidence in your outdoor ventures, knowing you are equipped to deal with emergency situations should the worse happen, as well as having a protective shell for your sleeping bag.

Please Note: Snugpak® Bivvi Bags have a solid coating, and although designed to be breathable, sufficient air cannot pass through the fabric to sustain breathing. Care should be taken not to completely seal any Bivvi Bag system, so as to prevent suffocation.

 

Features

  • Made of Paratex Dry, a lightweight, durable, 100% waterproof and breathable fabric. It makes an ideal protective shell for any of our sleeping bags, weighing only 300g. Exceptional breathability ensures user comfort in all conditions
  • Hydro Static Head in Excess of 5000mm (Hydrostatic Head) over 1500mm are generally considered waterproof
  • Outer Fabric can be treated with a Durable Water Repellent (water repellency can be maintained by a cool tumble dry after washing and periodic re-treatment with suitable after care products such as Nikwax or Grangers)
  • Comes with a stuff sack

Beautiful image. This monitor is excellent and I am very happy with it. However, you should be aware that it does not have any internal speakers and it does not have any audio input. It does have audio output for external speakers or headphones. For me, this was not a problem since I use a USB external speaker for better clarity. The lack of internal speakers was a surprise to me, but I suppose since the lack of speakers mentioned in the product description should have tipped me off.

Works as it should

I started a new job a few months ago and I get to work from home one day a week. They do not pay for you to set up a home office however, so I was looking for a cheap monitor for part of my set up. I came across this one and decided to try it out. I work in client service for a finance company so a lot of what I use it for is email, other conversational programs, and then our custodian software. I’m not doing anything crazy. I have it connected to a name brand laptop and it was very easy to set up with no issues. It turned right on. The picture quality is nice. Again, I’m not doing editing or anything on this so it works for what I need. It does NOT have speakers, so I do need to use the speakers on my laptop( which can be annoying), but again it’s not a deal breaker. I have been using it now for 5 months and it’s been working really well for my set up. I am thinking of getting a second monitor and I would get another of these but also I do want a speaker so I don’t know that I would get this exact version. For the price, if you are looking for something basic for normal work from home needs, this does the trick!
